Komal Jha, an Indian movie actress and writer, has made a name for herself in the Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi film industries. Notably, Jha's career path has been unconventional, as she transitioned from being a civil engineer to an actress and gained recognition for her roles in Chinna Cinema. Besides acting, Jha has also ventured into stage shows and brand endorsements, primarily in South India.
Jha's acting career began while she was still attending college, with her debut in the 2009 Bollywood movie 3 Idiots. She then appeared in her first Malayalam film, 24 Hrs, in 2010 before taking a job with an international construction firm in Dubai the same year. However, Jha returned to India in 2011 to act in Nimbe Huli and Ramachari, and also appeared in television commercials and print ads for brands such as Axis Bank, BNP Paribas Mutual Funds, and Moti Soap.
Since then, Jha has starred in numerous films, including Chinna Cinema (2013), Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama (2013), and Eduruleni Alexander (2013). In 2014, she appeared in the Telugu movies Billa Ranga and Maine Pyar Kiya, before landing a lead role in the Hindi film industry's nationwide debut, Mr. MBA.
